New blood marker may help monitor Sjögren's flares

Summary
This study looks at whether a specific type of antibody in the blood, called anti-Ro/SSA IgE, can help doctors tell if Sjögren's disease is active. Researchers will measure this antibody in 185 people with primary Sjögren's syndrome and compare it to standard disease activity scores. The goal is to find a simple blood test that could improve monitoring of this chronic autoimmune condition.
