Ancient sand baths tested for modern arthritis relief
NCT ID NCT07287696
Summary
This small study compared a traditional therapy from Siwa Oasis to standard physical therapy for people with rheumatoid arthritis. Thirty patients tried either a 5-day program of hot sand baths and massage or a 2-month physiotherapy plan. Researchers measured their breathing, daily function, and pain levels before and after to see which approach helped more.
