Nurse-Led exercise program aims to get ICU survivors back on their feet

NCT ID NCT04640441

Summary

This study tested a 2-week, nurse-led exercise program designed to help ICU survivors who couldn't stand up from a chair on their own. The program involved supervised exercises and practice standing up. Researchers wanted to see if this 'Sit-to-Stand Care' could improve patients' strength, daily function, and reduce the chance of becoming bed-bound after leaving the hospital.
