Summary
This study tested a new HIV prevention training program for Black women at high risk for HIV in Washington D.C., Atlanta, and New Orleans. Twenty-three women took part in sessions designed to increase knowledge and use of PrEP, a medication that prevents HIV. The program aimed to reduce HIV rates in the Black community by empowering women with tailored information and support.
