New hope for patients with untamable inflammatory disease

NCT ID NCT07151157

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called sirolimus can help control the severe inflammation and symptoms of Adult-Onset Still's Disease (AOSD) in patients who haven't improved with standard steroid treatments. It will involve just three patients with this rare, difficult-to-treat condition. Researchers will give patients sirolimus pills and closely monitor their symptoms and blood markers to see if the drug reduces disease activity and understand how it might work.
