Scientists probe microscopic hairs in sinus disease
NCT ID NCT04191590
Summary
This study aimed to test a new tool for measuring how tiny, hair-like structures (cilia) move in the sinuses of people with chronic sinusitis. Researchers wanted to compare these measurements in sinusitis patients to those in healthy people to better understand the disease. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
