Could a 'Poop Transplant' for your nose cure chronic sinus problems?
NCT ID NCT07184684
Summary
This study is testing whether transferring healthy bacteria from a donor's nose into a patient's sinuses can help control chronic sinusitis. It builds on a small pilot study that showed promising symptom relief. The trial will enroll 50 people with long-term sinusitis to compare the transplant against a placebo treatment and see if the benefits last.
