New drill technique aims to simplify complex jawbone surgery
NCT ID NCT06902454
Summary
This study is testing a specific, guided drill technique to lift the sinus floor in the upper jaw to allow for the placement of dental implants. It involves 10 patients who have lost back teeth and have limited bone height below their sinus. The goal is to see how well this guided method works for performing this delicate bone-grafting procedure at the same time as placing the implant.
