3D X-Ray study aims to perfect timing for dental implants after sinus lift
NCT ID NCT06507709
First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether 3D X-rays (CBCT) can help dentists know when it's safe to place a dental implant after a sinus lift surgery. About 25 adults who need a sinus lift for an implant will get a 3D scan right after surgery and again 6 months later. The goal is to measure how much new bone grows, so doctors can better plan implant placement.
