One-Shot radiation vs. three doses: race to control returning spinal cancer

NCT ID NCT03028337

Summary

This study is testing whether delivering a single, large dose of targeted radiation is as effective as the standard three smaller doses for treating spinal tumors that have grown back after previous radiation. It involves 80 adults with cancer that has spread to the spine. The main goal is to see which approach better controls the tumor and relieves pain over time.
