One implant or two? new study aims to find best fix for tough knee fractures

Summary
This study looks at two different ways to surgically fix certain types of breaks in the thigh bone just above the knee. The goal is to find out which method helps people get back to work and everyday activities sooner. About 144 adults with these fractures will be randomly assigned to receive either one or two metal implants during surgery. Researchers will track how active participants are using a questionnaire.
