First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using two implants instead of one to fix a broken thigh bone near the knee helps older or medically compromised adults recover better. About 44 participants will be randomly assigned to one of two treatments and followed for a year. The main goal is to see if a larger study is possible, while also checking pain, function, and bone healing.
