First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether a single, precise dose of radiation can safely treat spinal cord compression caused by cancer that has spread to the spine. The treatment is for patients who cannot have surgery and have not had radiation in that area before. Researchers will monitor how many patients remain able to walk and whether any develop radiation-related spinal cord injury.
