One-Shot radiation tested to stop spinal tumor growth
NCT ID NCT01254903
Summary
This study is testing if a single, high-precision dose of radiation can safely control tumors that are pressing on the spinal cord in patients who cannot have surgery. The goal is to see if this one-time treatment can stop tumor growth and prevent paralysis, replacing the usual multi-week radiation schedule. Researchers will monitor patients for two years to check the treatment's safety and effectiveness.
