One session to ease surgery pain? new study tests quick relief method

Summary
This study compares a single-session pain management program called Empowered Relief (ER) to standard care for reducing pain after elective orthopedic surgery. Researchers will enroll 134 adults who have had pain for more than 3 months related to their surgical condition. The goal is to see if ER helps lower pain intensity and interference, and improves recovery at 6 weeks and 3 months after surgery.
