Two-Hour class aims to cut Post-Surgery pain
NCT ID NCT07392099
Summary
This study is testing if a single 2-hour class teaching pain management skills works better than standard care alone for reducing pain after joint or bone surgery. It will enroll 134 adults who have had chronic pain before their elective surgery. Researchers will compare pain levels, mood, and daily function between the two groups for 3 months after the operation.
