Cancer center tests speedy One-Day liver tumor zap
NCT ID NCT03028311
Summary
This study is testing whether a radioactive treatment for advanced liver cancer can be safely done in a single day instead of the usual two separate visits. The treatment involves injecting tiny radioactive beads directly into the liver's blood vessels to cut off tumors' blood supply. Researchers want to see if this faster approach works, is safe, and can reduce travel and costs for patients.
