Summary
This study tested a single, one-time session designed to help families manage a child's anxiety while they wait for full treatment. It involved 59 families with children aged 7-17 who had elevated anxiety symptoms. The session taught kids and parents coping strategies and aimed to see if this brief help could reduce anxiety symptoms compared to just waiting.
