One probe for all? new liver scanner aims to simplify diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07400289

Summary

This study is testing a new, single-probe version of a FibroScan device used to check liver health. Researchers want to see if this simpler probe gives results as accurate and reliable as the current probes that come in different sizes. They will also check if patients find the new probe more comfortable. The study involves 309 adults with chronic liver disease at sites in France and Hong Kong.
