One leg at a time: researchers test new exercise approach for lung disease
NCT ID NCT06466213
Summary
This study aimed to understand the immediate effects of three different single-leg exercises in people with COPD. Researchers measured how short bursts of high-intensity, continuous, and strength-based leg exercises impacted walking ability, oxygen use, and muscle function. The goal was to gather knowledge to help design better exercise programs, not to test a new treatment.
