First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether realistic simulation training helps caregivers of children with tracheostomies (with or without home ventilators) manage emergencies. About 60 caregivers will be trained using high-tech simulations to see if it reduces hospital readmissions and ER visits. The goal is to improve caregiver confidence and reduce unnecessary hospital use.
