NCT ID NCT07535255
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether simulation-based training for vaginal exams could reduce anxiety and improve confidence and skills in 67 third-year midwifery students. Students who trained in a lab felt more satisfied and confident, while those who practiced in a real clinical setting got better technical skills. The findings suggest that combining simulation with real-world practice is the best way to prepare students.
