First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at how the body uses energy when walking after losing weight. Researchers will have 20 teens aged 12-16 with obesity walk on a special treadmill that simulates weight loss. They want to see if the body tries to save energy after weight loss, which could make it harder to keep weight off. The goal is to better understand why weight regain often happens.
