Simple paint stops Kids' cavities without drilling

This study tested two simple, painless treatments to stop cavities in young children who have difficulty sitting through standard dental procedures. Researchers compared applying a silver fluoride liquid to cavities every six months versus combining that with a protective fluoride varnish on all teeth every three months. They followed 104 children for two years to see which approach was better at hardening cavities and preventing them from getting worse.
