Silver-Lined hip implants aim to stop infections in High-Risk patients

Summary
This study is testing a new silver-coated hip replacement device to see if it can lower the chance of infection after surgery. The study will include 70 adults who are at high risk for infection, such as those with diabetes or weak immune systems. Researchers will track infections and check silver levels in the blood and urine to make sure the device is safe.
