Sunscreen-Infused silicone stick may boost scar healing after eyelid surgery

Summary

This study tests whether applying a silicone stick that also contains sunscreen (Improscar Stick® 50) can improve how eyelid scars heal after upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). Thirty adults who are having the surgery will use the product and be followed for at least three months. Doctors and patients will rate the scar's color, thickness, and feel using standard scales.
