The 'Silent' threat in Crohn's: study tracks hidden bowel narrowings
NCT ID NCT07167745
Summary
This study aims to understand what happens over time to 'silent' narrowings (strictures) found in the small bowel of people with Crohn's disease who have no symptoms. Researchers will review the medical records of 150 adults to see how often these silent narrowings later cause problems like pain or blockage, and if they lead to treatments like surgery. The goal is to help doctors decide when to monitor and when to treat these hidden findings.
