NCT ID NCT03121001

Summary

This study is testing a stem cell transplant from a partially matched family donor as a potential cure for people with severe sickle cell disease. It aims to see if the donor cells successfully take hold in the patient's body by 60 days after the transplant. The trial is for patients aged 16-60 who have serious complications from the disease and do not have a fully matched sibling donor.
