Summary
This study tested a set of tools designed to help pediatric doctors better document and discuss sickle cell trait results with families. It involved 114 pediatric care providers and aimed to see if these tools made it easier for doctors to share this important genetic information. The goal was to close the gap between recommended guidelines and actual practice, ensuring families are informed.
