Summary
This study developed and tested a new telehealth program called I-STRONG to help teenagers with sickle cell disease manage chronic pain. The program combines breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and gentle movement training, and was specifically adapted with input from patients and families. Researchers worked with 45 participants to see if the program was practical and acceptable for this community.
