New device could spot shunt blockages faster in brain fluid disorder

Summary

This study checks if a device called ShuntCheck can accurately find blockages in shunts used to drain fluid from the brain in people with normal pressure hydrocephalus. About 20 adults aged 40 and older with suspected shunt problems will be tested. The goal is to see if ShuntCheck works as well as the current standard test.
