First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tested a new medicine called SHR-1918, given as multiple shots under the skin, in 44 adults with high cholesterol that was not well controlled by current treatments. The goal was to see if it safely lowers 'bad' LDL cholesterol over 24 weeks. This is a phase 2 trial, meaning it's an early step to check if the drug works and is safe enough for larger studies.
