New drug trial aims to tame dangerous blood fats

Summary
This study is testing an investigational drug called SHR-1918 to see if it can safely lower high levels of triglycerides, a type of fat in the blood. About 360 adults with high triglycerides will receive either the drug or a placebo for up to 48 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in blood fat levels and monitor for side effects to determine if the treatment is effective and safe.
