New shot aims to tame stubborn cholesterol
NCT ID NCT07230730
Summary
This study is testing whether an investigational injection called SHR-1918 can help lower bad cholesterol and triglycerides in people with high cholesterol who are already taking standard statin pills. About 900 adults will receive either the real injection or a placebo (dummy shot) to see which is more effective and safe over time. The main goal is to see how much it reduces key cholesterol and fat levels in the blood compared to the placebo.
