First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called SHR-1905 in 75 adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (eczema). Half will get the drug, half a placebo, and neither they nor their doctors will know who got what. The main goal is to see if the drug can reduce eczema severity by at least 75% after a set time. Researchers will also check for side effects.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
SHR-1905 injection
What this could lead to
If successful, this could point toward a new treatment option for people with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, potentially reducing skin inflammation and itch.
What could go wrong
This is an early Phase IIa study with only 75 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The drug may not work better than placebo, and side effects are still being studied.
