New stroke drug shows promise in major trial

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called SHPL-49 given through a vein to people who have had a stroke caused by a blood clot. The goal is to see if it helps them recover better and have less disability 90 days later. About 1,096 adults aged 18-80 who are already getting standard clot-busting treatment will take part.
