New stroke drug shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study tested a new medicine called SHPL-49 given as an IV for 7 days to people who had a stroke caused by a blood clot. The goal was to see if it helps them recover better and is safe. 270 adults aged 18-80 took part in this Phase 2 trial.
