Shower pee test aims to ease Post-Surgery pain for women
NCT ID NCT07372547
Summary
This study is testing whether having women urinate standing in the shower, instead of sitting on a toilet, after certain gynecologic surgeries helps reduce pain and prevents the bladder from not emptying fully. Researchers want to see if this simple change in position lowers the chance a woman will need a urinary catheter put back in. The trial will include 100 women who have had benign vaginal surgery.
