New Placenta-Based injection tested for chronic shoulder pain
NCT ID NCT06160427
Summary
This study is comparing two different single-injection treatments for chronic shoulder tendon pain (rotator cuff tendinopathy). Researchers want to see if an injection made from processed placental tissue (CTM Boost) works as well as or better than a standard platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection. About 92 adults with this painful condition received one of the injections, and their pain and shoulder function were tracked for six months.
