Heal your shoulder from home: study tests virtual rehab after surgery
NCT ID NCT06744218
Summary
This study is testing whether physical therapy done through video calls (telerehabilitation) works as well as traditional in-person therapy for people recovering from rotator cuff shoulder surgery. Researchers will compare pain levels, shoulder movement, and overall function in 46 patients randomly assigned to either video-based or in-person therapy for the first month after surgery. The goal is to see if remote therapy can be a convenient and effective alternative for post-surgical recovery.
