New combo could ease shoulder surgery pain

Summary
This study looks at whether adding dexamethasone or dexmedetomidine to a standard numbing medicine (bupivacaine) can better control pain after shoulder arthroscopy. About 100 adults having elective shoulder surgery will take part. The goal is to find a way to reduce pain and improve recovery.
