New shoulder pain block could avoid breathing problems
NCT ID NCT07483814
Summary
This study compares two nerve block techniques used to control pain after shoulder surgery. Researchers want to see if a newer method (suprascapular block) provides similar pain relief as the standard method (interscalene block) but with fewer breathing-related side effects. The study involves 84 adults having arthroscopic shoulder surgery and will track their pain levels and recovery for three months.
