Summary
This study tested whether adding a common acne treatment gel to the standard surgical cleaning routine could better prevent bacterial infections after shoulder surgery. Researchers compared three different cleaning methods in 156 patients undergoing shoulder procedures. They measured whether bacteria were present during surgery to see which cleaning approach worked best.
