Could your bone marrow predict your shoulder surgery success?

NCT ID NCT05106088

Summary

This study aims to understand why some shoulder repairs fail. Researchers will check if specific features of a patient's bone marrow in the shoulder bone are linked to how well the repaired tendon heals. They will collect bone marrow samples from 50 patients during surgery and use MRI scans six months later to see if the tendon healed properly.
