New shoulder surgery pain relief aims to keep patients breathing easier
NCT ID NCT07474896
Summary
This study is comparing two different ways to numb the shoulder for surgery. The goal is to see if a newer combination of nerve blocks can provide the same pain relief as the standard method, but with less impact on a patient's ability to breathe normally. Researchers will enroll 70 patients aged 65 and older who are having elective shoulder surgery to measure pain control and breathing function.
