Ditch the sling? study tests faster recovery after shoulder surgery
NCT ID NCT06092996
Summary
This study aims to find out if patients need to wear a shoulder sling for the typical three weeks after a reverse shoulder replacement surgery. Researchers are comparing two groups: one wears a sling for three weeks, and the other wears it for only three days. They will track 100 patients for two years to see if the shorter sling time leads to better shoulder function, less pain, or more complications.
