New shoulder therapy trial aims to ease Parkinson's pain and improve arm use
NCT ID NCT06861933
Summary
This study is testing two different physical therapy programs to see if they can improve shoulder movement and arm function in people with Parkinson's disease. It involves 28 participants in Turkey who will receive either a specialized shoulder rehab program or a standard upper-body neurorehabilitation program. Researchers will measure changes in shoulder mechanics, arm function, pain levels, and posture to determine which approach is more helpful.
