First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks (interscalene block and anterior suprascapular block) to see which one better prevents shoulder pain after lung surgery. About 75 adults with lung cancer will be randomly assigned to receive one of the blocks or standard pain treatment. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage post-surgery shoulder pain.
