Researchers test new scans to see inside damaged shoulder muscles
NCT ID NCT04223440
Summary
This study tested whether new MRI and ultrasound techniques could better measure muscle changes in people with rotator cuff tears. Researchers worked with 3 participants who had shoulder tears on one side but a healthy shoulder on the other. The goal was to see if these imaging methods could provide more objective measurements of muscle quality to help guide treatment decisions.
