First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study is tracking 2,500 people who have had or will have shoulder replacement surgery using Shoulder Innovations implants. Researchers will check x-rays and patient questionnaires over time to see how long the implants last and how well patients move and feel. The goal is to gather real-world data on the long-term success of these shoulder replacements.
What this could mean

What this could lead to
If successful, this registry could provide valuable data on how well Shoulder Innovations shoulder replacements hold up over time, helping doctors and patients make informed decisions.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a controlled trial, so it cannot prove cause and effect. Results may be influenced by factors like patient selection or surgeon experience.
