New exercise combo shows promise for shoulder pain relief
NCT ID NCT07521839
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding a specific breathing technique (abdominal drawing-in) and cross-pattern limb exercises to standard physical therapy can reduce pain and improve movement in people with shoulder impingement syndrome. 38 adults aged 30-50 with shoulder pain will be split into two groups: one gets standard care, the other adds the new exercises. The goal is to see if the new approach leads to better pain relief and shoulder function after 4 weeks.
